The second wave of Covid-19 is here in Nepal. Hospitals in Kathmandu and Banke have been overflowed with patients. The rise of Covid-19 has caused a growth in demand for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other medical equipment such as Oxygen concentrators, oximeters, etc. Everyone including vulnerable populations is in need.
Therefore, there is a need for medical equipment and preparation for the wave coming to the district hospitals.
HDCS has been mobilizing medical equipment and protecting all in need to address this problem. Furthermore, healthcare workers rely on PPE to protect themselves and their patients from being infected and infecting others. But due to limited access, frontline workers are dangerously ill-equipped to care for Covid-19 patients.
HDCS, its hospitals, and all the other projects provide guidance, support secure supply chains, and deliver critical equipment where the need is.
