Health

A majority of the population living in rural areas of Nepal are poor, have various health problems and economic hardships. Difficult geographical terrain, lack of time and resources to access health care facilities and few doctors in rural areas make it challenging for the locals to receive quality health services. Many dwellers from remote areas have to walk for long hours to reach the nearest health post. HDCS aims to increase access to quality health care services, reduce economic burden to access health care services and reduce harmful cultural practices mainly for the disadvantaged and marginalised communities.
